MFU Students Win the First Place in the Student Innovation Challenge Thailand

Mae Fah Luang University would like to congratulate students from the School of Science and the School of Management for winning the first place in the Student Innovation Challenge Thailand (SIC Thailand 2020) on 22 June 2020.

Competing against 13 works submitted, MFU students including Ms. Wassananun Tthienprasert, Mr. Chomchon Klongkarnkien and Ms. Siyapon Meesri from the Materials Engineering programme; Ms. Aweena Suklueang and Mr. Sakson Chantros from the Business Administration programme won the first prize for their innovation project entitled “Design and fabrication of below knee stump bandage instrument using pressure control system”

Moreover, five winning teams including MFU students were selected to represent Thailand in the Global Student Innovation Challenge (gSIC 2020) which will be held in the 2020 International Convention on Rehabilitation Engineering and Technology (i-CREATe 2020) on 4-7 December 2020 at Taipei Medical University, Taiwan.

The SIC Thailand 2020 was organized by the Thailand Biomedical Engineering Consortium, the Assistive Technology and Medical Devices Research Center (A-MED), the National Science and Technology Development Agency.
