Microbial Products and Innovation (MP&I)

Objectives

  1. To develop a collaborative research among researchers in the same field as well as seek research funds, assistance, facilities, and equipment for cross-disciplinary research 
  2. To strengthen the academic collaboration and research networks both domestically and internationally
  3. To develop microbial and bioscience-related products, innovations and intellectual properties for meeting the need of agricultural and industrial sectors

 

Missions

  1. Build knowledge from basic and applied research in order to expand and use it commercially 
  2. Transfer knowledge to community based on our know how and products development 
  3. Build research collaboration with communities and private companies by integrating cross-disciplinary knowledge for creating value added products

  • Award 
    • The research project "Development of extraction method for active compounds from Cordyceps militaris for an anti-hairloss shampoo" won the Honorable Mention for "the outstanding research and innovation contest 2019" in the Research Administration Network Conference (RANC 2019) organized by Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation during 20 - 22 November 2019.
