Qualifications of applicants
- Applicants must have a strong desire to study at Mae Fah Luang University.
- Applicants must be physically healthy without any diseases or conditions that might inhibit their ability to study.
- Applicants must have graduated from the upper secondary education level or equivalent with the following conditions:
- Graduation from Grade 12, according to the American education system; or
- Graduation from Year 13, according to the English education system; or
- Graduation from GCE O-Level or IGCSE equivalent to the upper secondary education, according to the English education system; or
- Graduation from GED, according to the American education system; or
- Graduation from other systems of high school curriculum or equivalent, according to the highest basic education curriculum of each country.
- Applicants must be approved by the schools to be eligible for admission.
- Applicants for the School of Law and Applied Thai Traditional Medicine programme and Traditional Chinese Medicine programme and Physical Therapy programme and the School of Nursing are required to be able to use Thai in listening, speaking, reading, and writing at a competent level. The applicants in the School of Law must pass an interview administered by the School of Law.
English Preparation Course
- Mae Fah Luang University requires all new students to complete the Intensive English Course before the semester starts.
- The requirements is waived for those who have a TOEFL or IELTS English proficiency test result that is equivalent or greater than the following criteria;
- TOEFL Internet-based 32
- IELTS 4.5
