The Bachelor of Arts program in Chinese Studies aims to cultivate professionals in the field of Chinese studies with comprehensive knowledge of Chinese language, history, politics, governance, economics, society, culture, and international relations. The program is designed to provide in-depth insights and adaptability to the dynamic changes in the global society. The program, therefore, incorporates the educational philosophy of the university, which emphasizes educational management in line with the philosophy of Progressive Education. Progressive Education is an educational philosophy that centers on making learners the focal point of the teaching and learning process, aiming to equip them with lifelong learning skills. The instructors, in this context, create a conducive learning environment that promotes the education of students by providing freedom and autonomy in learning, exploration, and research. They take into consideration the individual interests, aptitudes, and needs of the learners, aiming to transfer knowledge from the program to practical application. This approach enables students to creatively solve problems and manage organizations effectively. Moreover, the students are capable of facilitating communication and collaboration among individuals or organizations in a multicultural context efficiently.

In order to produce graduates with the following knowledge and abilities:
1.    Demonstrate proficiency in applying concepts and theories of Chinese Studies and integrating knowledge in Chinese Studies for the analysis and evaluation of the changing dynamics in global societal contexts.
2.    Possess proficiency in utilizing Chinese language skills and technology in conjunction with other disciplines for effective communication and collaboration in international organizations. This capability should lead to innovative and sustainable problem-solving and organizational management within a multicultural context.
3.    Uphold social ethics and academic integrity in the creation of works and research endeavors in the field of Chinese Studies.
4.    Demonstrate systematic presentation of knowledge in Chinese Studies and confidently express analytical opinions with logical reasoning.

The Bachelor of Arts program in Chinese Studies aims to foster the distinctiveness of graduates in the field of Chinese Studies by enhancing their abilities in presenting knowledge in Chinese Studies and encouraging confidence in expressing critical opinions. Additionally, the program seeks to develop essential skills for real-world applications, encompassing communication skills, technological proficiency, and collaborative teamwork skills.

1.    Personnel in the role of international coordinators can be found in various sectors, including government agencies, private enterprises, and international organizations.
2.    Scholars and researchers in the field of Chinese Studies.
3.    Independent professionals engaged in activities related to China.
