Entrepreneurship has become a favourite topic to be included in school, college and university curricula. It is now considered a vital skill in the 21st century. Many graduates aspire to be entrepreneurs as well, looking up to many known successful serial entrepreneurs as role models. Clearly, there is a demand.
However, there is no clear understanding or standard for the teaching or imparting of such skills or competencies within an educational context. Efforts have largely been trial and error, without a clear pedagogy or methodology.
Join this webinar on 25 July 2024 at 3pm (GMT +8), where we bring together educators in the field who will discuss what works and what does not. Can entrepreneurship be taught at all? Is it for all students or only a chosen few? How do they measure the success of their efforts? It is time to ask hard questions on this soft topic.

Meet the Speakers:
- An engineer by training, Inderjit Singh worked in a multinational company for 13 years, before he started his entrepreneurship journey, founding his first technology Unicorn company, United Test and Assembly Center in 1998. Inderjit went on to start several successful companies in the last 20 years. Inderjit was four-term Member of Parliament of Singapore and served as Deputy Government Whip, Chairman GPC for Finance and Trade & Industry Ministries and was instrumental in shaping policies in of a vibrant innovation ecosystem in Singapore. He is the President of the Global Startup Committee of the World Business Angel Forum where he is also a board member. He was previously a Board Member of the Nanyang Technological University.
- Dr Kwabena Obiri Yeboah is a social entrepreneur and advocate for sustainable development, committed to driving positive change through innovative projects and community-driven initiatives. He is the founder of Social Entrepreneurship Hub, an organisation that empowers local communities through the promotion of social and effectual entrepreneurship in Ghana. He is also a co-founder and board member of Code for Afrika e.V., Germany. Dr Yeboah collaborates with diaspora community intellectuals to design and develop digital solutions addressing social and environmental issues in Africa, including programs for introducing digital skills to the youth. Dr Yeboah is particularly passionate about circular economy principles and actively promotes circular business models, recycling initiatives, and community-based solutions.
- Ramesh Krish Kumar is the Senior Manager (Entrepreneurship) at Temasek Polytechnic and Board Director at *SCAPE Singapore. An award-winning entrepreneur who received the National Youth Entrepreneur Award, Ramesh is known for his expertise in food science, nutrition, and startupreneurship. Ramesh has conceptualised and developed over 62 functional food products for various companies and has mentored over 100 startups from diverse industries. Between 2018 and 2023, Ramesh exemplified his entrepreneurial spirit through his role as the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Asmara® Singapore. Under his stewardship, Asmara evolved from an emerging startup to a renowned brand in Singapore's nutrition scene.
